In the other location, you might want to try arranging the crop swap meetings in a way that's more like a scheduled event on a less frequent or maybe ad-hoc basis. The problem is that you'd need to get the people on facebook or on the e-mail list of whatever, but if they're really interested, it shouldn't be that difficult to do.
